They walked me though the steps I posted above to resolve the issue. I reached out to Battlefield on Twitter and they pointed me to their support guys. I uninstalled/reinstalled everything (game, dlc), rebooted modems, hard reset my X1, deleted and restored my profile, and nothing worked. This works on my Xbox laptop and on my phone so it's not the headset. I then have my headset and mic plugged into the socket on my Xbox controller. I also picked up the new Elite controller, so i wasnt sure where the problem was. I have an Xbox one wired controller plugged into a usb socket on my pc. My controller wasn't responding to anything. Is there a setting to enable controller that Im missing The options menu for controller shows the controller and it appears it should be working, but its not. I can use the Xbox hotkeys proving the controller is working with the PC. I was trapped on the "Content Unlocked" message. Trying to play BF2042 but the game doesnt recognize the Xbox Elite Controller. I had this problem for 3+ days after installing Legacy Operations.
